Twisted Words

Satan's very first and continuing tactic
is to cause doubt in God's word to us.
He also misquotes it as he did to Jesus.

He said to Eve,"Has God indeed said,
'You shall not eat of every tree in the garden?"
(Genesis 3:1)
And Eve straightened out his misquote
but she continued to interact with him
and he continued to refute God's
goodness and love.

Lessons to be learned?

Stand firm on God's word and
stop listening when Satan
through another "explains what God
really means" and His reasons
for saying it.

But James says we are to
"Submit to God. Resist the devil
and he will flee from you."
(James 4:7)
